Gilmore Day Center - Assisted Living Center Visit
Providing cards and performances to Prince George's County senior citizens at the Joseph A. Gilmore, Sr. Adult Day Care facility. This event is a partnership with the Student Engagement and Leadership Office, the Humanities Department, and the Seasoned Adults Growing Educationally (SAGE) program.

Young Playwrights' Showcase
Prince George's Community College has partnered with D.C.'s Young Playwrights' Theater (YPT) to offer a course on playwriting for PGCC performing arts students. Join us for a celebration of the students' original plays featuring professional actors.

Attend this upcoming 65th Anniversary Speaker Series event featuring nurse and PGCC alumna Julia Bethea! This event will be held in Room 1418 of the Center for Health Studies on the main Largo campus. No registration is required.

Ballet Theater of Maryland: Momentum featuring The Firebird
"Momentum featuring The Firebird" will showcase the one-act ballet based on Russian folklore's elusive, mythical Firebird alongside world-premiering works by choreographers near and far abound to explore everything classical and contemporary ballet offers.

65th Anniversary Speaker Series Featuring Noor Tagouri
Come attend this special 65th Anniversary Speaker Series event featuring journalist, activist, motivational speaker, and PGCC alumna Noor Tagouri! WHUR 96.3 radio host Sunni from "Sunni and the City" will join Tagouri for this event, which will be held in Room 125 of Lanham Hall. Registration is not required.

Financial advisers share their simple tips on spending less and saving more with people looking to take control of their funds and achieve their goals. There will also be a film review of the movie "Get Smart With Money" (2022) available on Netflix.

Banking on the Big Screen: Movie Magic Meets Financial Empowerment
Arlo Washington is the president of People Trust Community Loan Fund and the first Black bank owner in the state of Arkansas. His Oscar-nominated documentary, “The Barber of Little Rock,” will be screened at this event. There will also be a discussion on Washington’s pioneering journey from a small-town barber to a historical figure and economic change agent. Washington’s film showcases his mission to foster economic opportunity in underinvested communities.

Celebrate the spring semester's end with our Owllapalooza block party!
Dance to live performances from Caribbean, reggae, hip-hop, and rap artists. There will also be a DJ battle, graffiti painting, craft vendors, games, food trucks, and much more.
