The Pepco Community Scholars Program provides financial aid to Prince George's Community College students pursuing STEM subjects and other high-demand related majors, such as information technology, business, data analytics, communications, and more.
Criteria
- Students must reside in-state and reside in Prince George's County.
- Students must be in good academic standing (current GPA of 2.0 or higher).
- Scholarships can be used for tuition and fees, including non-tuition base fees, i.e. lab coats, online equipment for remote learning related to courses, etc. Funds to be provided after all financial aid has been applied to account; intended to fill unmet financial need.
- Students must major or continue education in the following disciplines: General Studies with Area of Concentration in Sciences, Engineering, and Mathematics (SEM), Engineering, A.S., Computer Engineering Technology, A.A.S., Construction Management, A.A.S., Information Technology, A.A.S., Carpentry, HVAC/R Plumbing or Welding.
