Cover your tuition and fees at PGCC with our Local Impact Grant. View eligibility information below.
Grant Information
In collaboration with Prince George's County Council member Edward Burroughs III, Prince George's Community College (PGCC) has introduced the Local Impact Grant program during the 2023-2024 academic year.
This program aims to provide eligible students with partial or full-time scholarship awards that will cover tuition and mandatory fee expenses for credit and continuing education courses, certifications, workforce development, and senior adult programming.
Eligibility
This grant supports community members living in District 7 or District 8 within six miles of MGM. It is funded through a portion of the annual gaming and tax revenue that MGM contributes to the local community.
Students interested in this opportunity are encouraged to enroll at PGCC and use the Local Impact Grant to advance their future. The Local Impact Grant is also available to assist eligible PGCC students with tuition and mandatory fees.
Award Amount
The total amount is calculated once all other grants and scholarship award dollars are applied to the applicant's tuition and fees.
Application Deadline
Apply today, as funds are subject to availability.
