The Office of Grants and Resource Development was established to offer a centralized set of pre- and post-award services to sustain grant development and support initiatives at Prince George’s Community College (PGCC). Comprehensive office functions include:
- Identification, pre-qualification, and dissemination of grant opportunities
- Convening interdepartmental or interdivisional meetings to maximize internal collaboration during the grant development process
- Guidance in the conceptualization, writing and review of proposal drafts prepared by grant development teams
- Submission of final applications to funding agencies
- Fostering relationships with funders and external partners
- Liaison with grant project directors, the PGCC Office of Finance, and external funding agencies to assist with grant management functions to include budgeting, evaluation, and reporting
- Presentation of proposal development workshops for faculty and staff
- Maintenance and upkeep of grant proposal and management files, budget records, eligibility determinations, DUNS and CCR documentation, and logins/passwords for electronic submissions
