Selective Enrollment Programs
Admission to Prince George’s Community College does not guarantee admission into selective enrollment programs. The programs listed below have limited enrollment capacity and rigorous academic standards. This means:
- Completion of specific entrance courses is required.
- Students must petition for acceptance into one of these selective programs.
- Enrollment is on a space-available basis.
- Admitted students must maintain a minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) and course grade.
- Completion of other program-specific requirements.

Level Placement Programs
Level Placement Programs have a process to place a new student in a class level commensurate with their skill level and/or experience. An audition for entrance into the program is not required. However, it is recommended that each interested student attend a bi-semester placement class.
