MOUs and Campus Partnerships

The Office of Transfer Services provides direct oversight and guidance for all articulation agreements between Prince George's Community College (PGCC), the Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, Early and Middle College Programs, and Laurel College Center (LCC).

Laurel College Center Agreements and Partnerships

The Laurel College Center was established in 2001 as a partnership between Howard Community College and Prince George’s Community College. An articulation agreement for 2+2 programs exists allowing students to attend a community college for two years, then transfer to a college or university for another two years. It is an accessible and affordable way to earn associate's and bachelor's degrees.

Prince George's Community College participates in a consortium designed to ensure that high school students acquire rigorous and challenging academic and technical competencies.  

Early and middle college programs provide a rigorous dual enrollment course pathway for first-generation and low socioeconomic students to earn their high school diploma, specialized certification(s), an associate and/or bachelor's degree in a specified discipline within four to six years.

PGCC Campus Partnerships

A pre-transfer/admissions representative assists students planning to transfer from community colleges or other institutions to four-year colleges and universities. They provide guidance on the transfer process, including evaluating transfer credits, helping with application procedures, and offering advice on meeting academic requirements for the intended four-year institution.
