BUS-592: Let's Do This! Moving from Business Idea to Execution
Jump-start your business with an action-oriented workshop on strategic planning. Complete exercises that help you go through the steps required to go from an idea to execution. Learn to make smart goals and action steps to accomplish those goals as well as discovering your internal assets, service refinement, understanding, and implementing best practices, and engaging in SWOT analysis. This course provides guidelines for new or prospective business owners on their rights and obligations under our nation’s tax system. Topics include types of business entities and the advantages and disadvantages of each, the range of required tax forms, payroll requirements, and reporting and initial filing requirements with the federal government and state taxing authorities. eLearning Methods at PGCC
Online Classes: Learn on Your Own Time Online
Students taking an online class can access course content 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and engage in discussions using Canvas with their instructors and fellow learners. Instructors will set deadlines and due dates for assignments, tests, projects, and other coursework.
Remote Classes: Learn in Real Time
Students taking a remote class will meet online via the Canvas platform at scheduled times. Students will access learning materials, view assignments, and participate in discussions via Canvas.
