Course Descriptions
FIN-367: Registered Tax Preparer
This course will provide you with a solid foundation in individual tax preparation, enabling you to complete all standard returns. You will focus on the majority of tax forms required to prepare returns for both yourself and the general public. Throughout the course, you will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to complete federal income tax returns and research tax issues. To ensure thorough learning, the course includes tax case scenarios for practice. Additionally, this course will prepare you for the Maryland State exam.
Prerequisite: basic knowledge of navigating the internet and familiarity with preparing individual or business taxes.
