Welcome to Our Chapter

Our ACS Undergraduate Student Chapter at PGCC is a community of students passionate about chemistry and its applications. Our chapter is affiliated with the American Chemical Society (ACS), the world's largest scientific society. We aim to foster professional growth, scientific discovery, and community engagement through our activities.

About Us

Our chapter serves as a platform for chemistry enthusiasts to explore, learn, and connect. Whether you're pursuing a degree in chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or simply interested in science, we welcome you to join us!

Objectives

  1. Promote Chemistry Awareness: Inspire interest in chemistry through engaging workshops, guest lectures, and hands-on experiments.
  2. Professional Development: Equip members with skills and opportunities to succeed academically and professionally (for instance, members can participate as judges in school science fairs).
  3. Community Engagement: Organize outreach programs to bring the joy of chemistry to local schools (elementary, middle, or high) and communities.
  4. Networking Opportunities: Foster connections with peers, faculty, and professionals in the chemical sciences (such as attending field visits).
