About This Program

Purpose

This affordable program helps learners quickly train for a current or new job as an office clerk, office associate, executive assistant, or human resource assistant. Become eligible for the Microsoft Office Specialist Associate Certification and gain skills in administrative areas such as computer fundamentals, Microsoft Word (beginner and intermediate levels), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Administrative Support Specialist Certificate

The Administrative Support Specialist Certificate is designed for students needing to develop marketable employment skills quickly. Students receive immediate job training for positions and duties requiring essential office technology software and hardware, such as data entry, document and report preparation, compiling and editing spreadsheets, maintaining lists and files, and preparing tables and graphs.

Students who successfully complete the program will have a background in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), general office procedures, and administrative office management. Administrative office technology skills are universally required for employment positions at all levels of an organization and in various industries.

This program consists of three credentials, which can be earned in 12 months or less:
