Making an Impact
Career Readiness Skills for Students
Students studying mass communication have access to our hands-on television laboratory. They are actively involved in learning all phases of video production, from on-location shoots to live studio tapings and control room operations. Our students have even produced their own original content, including "Campus Beat" and "Health Report Card."
Teaching and Learning Support
Our team records lectures, conference speakers, fine arts performances, and special events on campus. PGCC TV also offers learning opportunities for students by including them in live audience productions, such as "British Debaters," "Literally Speaking," and the "Millennium Management Series." Students enrolled in the TV production curriculum also join our professional crew on production shoots.
Promoting the College's Vision and Mission
Whether producing a community affairs show focused on higher education and student success, a training video for faculty and staff, or a recruitment video highlighting programs, our team serves to promote the College's institutional goals.
