COVID-19 Procedures

In accordance with the College, masking and vaccination mandates have been lifted. This policy went into effect on August 8, 2022, and is subject to periodic reviews and updates.

Attending a Show

Masks
The College has lifted its masking mandate. However, wearing a mask is still highly recommended and encouraged inside our theatres. If worn correctly, your mask should cover your nose and mouth.

Vaccination
The College has lifted its vaccination mandate. However, vaccination against COVID-19 is still highly recommended. Proof of a negative test is no longer required.

If you have any COVID-related symptoms such as fever, cough, loss of smell, shortness of breath, or direct exposure to a confirmed COVID-infected person, please notify our box office staff before arriving at the venue.

Is the Center for Performing Arts open to the general public?

Yes. The facility was designed to enhance educational opportunities for students and to be a premier cultural arts and entertainment venue for the greater Washington metropolitan area.

The venue has a variety of spaces that can be rented to accommodate both small gatherings and large events with up to 1,000 guests. The public can also purchase tickets to dance, music, and theater performances, including those by international artists.

What about parking?

Parking is free and plentiful in the students'/visitors' lots. For those who need accessible parking, it is located in clearly marked spaces near the facility.

What services and amenities are available?
When did the Center for Performing Arts open?

Opened in 2019, the Center for Performing Arts was the result of a major renovation and expansion of the former Queen Anne Fine Arts Building. The facility now houses all of the College's performing arts programs under one roof.

Where is the center located?

The Center for Performing Arts is on the PGCC main campus.
