Prince George’s Community College celebrated Women’s History Month with a new Mass Communications Speaker Series on broadcasting journalism excellence.

Emmy-winning Professor of Mass Communications and broadcast journalist Lou Holder hosted the program on March 28. His guests included current and former DC area journalists Molette Green, Irene Johnson, Allison Seymour, Alison Starling, Maureen Umeh, Maureen Bunyan, Laura Evans, Sue Palka, and Andrea Roane.

Students posed questions and participated in conversations with the journalists from 12-1:30 p.m. in the Center for Performing Arts. They covered front-page issues and television, radio, and film industry topics.
