LARGO, Md. (March 27, 2018) - Prince George’s Community College President Dr. Charlene Dukes will speak as a panelist at the Women’s Equality Forum on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in Prince George’s Community College Rennie Forum Auditorium. The forum is sponsored by the Prince George’s County Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. and Millennial Intelligence Think Tank. WHUR 96.3’s Radio Personality Triscina Grey and local Morning News Anchor Taylor Thomas will moderate the discussion.
This event will contribute to a month-long celebration of women and their accomplishments while also bringing awareness to issues that affect them. Prince George’s County State Attorney Angela Alsobrooks, Esq., Bowie State University President Dr. Aminta Breaux, Prince George’s County Planning Board Chair Elizabeth Hewlett, Esq., Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission CEO and General Manager Carla Reid, and Global Accounting Strategy Director Kimberly Ellison-Taylor will take part in the discussion.
The panel forum is a timely discussion that will cover topics including women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), equal pay, and violence against women. The panelists each serve in different capacities that qualify them to speak on these issues. The event is free and all are welcome to attend.
