2018: PGCC Re-Opens Lanham Hall

LARGO, Md. (June 20, 2018) -  Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) is re-opening Lanham Hall, one of the college’s oldest buildings, on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. The newly renovated building supports the college’s growth and will house student support services, Workforce Development and Continuing Education offices, and Maryland’s first middle college, Academy of Health Sciences.

 

What:	Guests are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the re-opening of Lanham Hall. There will be an opportunity to tour the renovated areas, learn more about Academy of Health Sciences, and view technological advancements that will equip students to excel in their professional, educational, and personal endeavors.
Who:	Prince George’s Community College President Dr. Charlene Dukes and Prince George’s County representatives will give remarks during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Former and current Academy of Health Sciences students will also be in attendance and available for interviews.
When:	1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
