Chef Demo and Screening of "James Hemings: Ghost in America's Kitchen"
Saturday, February 24 | 12 p.m.-3 p.m.
Join us for a special chef demo and tasting, followed by a screening of the documentary "James Hemings: Ghost in America's Kitchen." Enslaved to Thomas Jefferson at eight years old, Hemings became France's first classically trained American chef. He is credited with creating many recipes using French cooking styles and bringing them to America, including crème brulée, meringues, and — most notably — macaroni and cheese.
This event will be held at the Culinary Arts Center. Visit the link below to reserve a free spot today.
